1. What is UPSC?
The UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. It is a constitutional body that conducts various exams to fill the vacancies at Group A and Group B posts.
2. What is the difference between UPSC and Civil Services Exam?
The UPSC is a exam conducting body and Civil Services Exam(CSE) is the one of exams conducted by the UPSC. The CSE is popularly known as UPSC exam due to it’s wider spectrum of the services and popularity.
3. What is the Pattern of UPSC CSE Exam?
There are three stages of the exam including prelims, mains and interview. The preliminary exam is objective type whereas the mains will be descriptive type. There are two papers in the prelims and nine papers in the mains exam.
4. Who can give UPSC Exam?
A person with a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university can give the exam. A person from any stream (science, commerce, arts or any other) is eligible to give the exam.
5. How many Attempts are Allowed or what is age limit in UPSC?
